In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society still works non-stop in supporting patients and their families and informing the public on issues related to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and relief of cancer while at the same time taking all safety measures for everyone’s safety.
Our law firm, in order to support Society’s efforts, made a generous contribution on the occasion of the campaign of BOC Running Teams. This year, due to Covid-10, the 45
th Christodoula March became digitally available and once again and as of 1999, the main sponsor and supporter of the Christodoula March was Bank of Cyprus.
We urge other business and individuals to donate as much as they can as every donation, makes a difference! Every support received, whatever the size, helps the Cyprus Anti-Cancer society to continue their work that over time has improved the life quality of many people. Everyone can be a part #stimaxi2020.
If you prefer other ways of being a part of this effort, you can sign up as a volunteer. The operation of the association would not have been possible without the contribution of the hundreds of volunteers who offer their help selflessly in various ways such as with:
- communal events: athletic and social occasions to help raise funds for the Society
- delivery of flyers and other publicity material
- office work
- accompanying patients on visits to their doctor or for walk
- with patients
- providing help for patients that stay at home (cooking, shopping, ironing)
